Khaberni - Arab Bank continues its support for the "Ramadan Month" program organized by the Children's Museum as part of the "Community Engagement" program for the twelfth consecutive year, reflecting its ongoing commitment to supporting educational and community initiatives targeting children and families.
This year's "Ramadan Month" program focused on revitalizing the concept of Arab councils, which historically have been an integral part of social and cultural life, where families gathered to listen to grandparents' stories and tales, and students of knowledge met with scholars and scientists to exchange knowledge.
The program included a range of educational and interactive activities that enabled visitors to learn about the contributions of several Arab and Muslim scientists who have left a significant mark on the journey of human knowledge, alongside a variety of scientific and artistic activities with a Ramadan theme designed for children aged one to twelve years, including bead and colorful lantern making activities, "Mr. Y" experiments, and other interactive activities that combine learning and entertainment. Furthermore, a Ramadan drummer accompanied children and families on a tour inside the exhibition hall, embodying one of the prominent traditions of the holy month.
In a related context, during the holy month, Arab Bank sponsored two charity iftars for children from orphanages and charitable associations, as part of the annual charity iftars program offered by the museum during the blessed month of Ramadan. A number of bank volunteers accompanied the children on a tour inside the museum's exhibition hall, which houses more than 195 interactive educational exhibits, where they engaged in a variety of activities that provided opportunities for play and discovery. The event also featured a special segment by the storyteller who presented exciting stories and tales to the children, and the tour concluded with the distribution of gifts to the children, creating an atmosphere filled with joy and cheer.
