Khaberni - An anonymous individual in Britain has turned into one of the wealthiest lottery winners in history, after snagging the grand prize in the EuroMillions draw worth approximately 181 million British pounds, in one of the biggest pots ever seen in the United Kingdom.
The fortunate ticket holder managed to match the five main numbers as well as the two Lucky Star numbers, collecting the massive prize amounting to 181,073,415.70 British pounds, according to the "Metro" newspaper.
The main winning numbers in the draw were as follows: 12, 14, 27, 44, and 50, while the "Lucky Star" numbers were 04 and 12.
The organizing bodies have urged all participants to carefully check their tickets, as the winner has not yet come forward to claim the prize.
A life-changing amount
On his part, Andy Carter, senior advisor to the winners at "Alwyn" company, said: "It's amazing news.. someone in the United Kingdom has won an amount that could completely change their life."
This is the largest win of 2026 so far, and it ranks third among the largest prizes in the history of the British National Lottery.
With this enormous amount, the anonymous winner joins the list of the country's rich, as the prize value roughly equals the fortune of British pop star Adele, which is estimated at about 170 million British pounds.
In the same draw, another player from the United Kingdom won a prize of 355,164.90 British pounds after matching five main numbers and one Lucky Star number, while a third winner received 16,601.50 British pounds after matching the five main numbers.
With this draw concluded, the grand prize for the next draw on Friday is expected to be about 14 million British pounds, opening the door for a new winner whose life could transform overnight.
