Khaberni - The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced the killing of at least 8 people and the injury of 31 others in an Israeli raid at dawn on Thursday on the Ramlet al-Baida area at the Beirut seafront, hours after another attack targeted the heart of the Lebanese capital.
This came after the Israeli military announced in a statement that it had carried out strikes overnight on Hezbollah targets in the southern suburbs of Beirut.
Hundreds of displaced people had taken refuge on the Ramlet al-Baida beach adjacent to the southern suburbs of Beirut after receiving Israeli warnings to evacuate their homes in the suburb and southern Lebanon.
For its part, the Lebanese National News Agency reported that the raid targeted a vehicle in Ramlet al-Baida, resulting in casualties, and added that the targeting coincided with the low-altitude flight of Israeli drones.
Early on Thursday, Hezbollah announced that it had targeted the Glilot military intelligence unit 8200 base on the outskirts of Tel Aviv with a barrage of precision missiles.
The war in the Middle East reached Lebanon after Hezbollah launched missiles at Israel in conjunction with the killing of the Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei on the first day of the American-Israeli attack.
