Khaberni - Arsenal forced a draw with host Bayer Leverkusen (1-1) on Wednesday in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League round of 16.
Robert Andrich began the scoring for Bayer Leverkusen in the 46th minute.
Arsenal equalized through Kai Havertz with a penalty in the 89th minute.
The second leg will be held next Tuesday in London where the match will be open to all possibilities despite the advantage for the "Gunners," who will be playing at home among their fans and will endeavor to advance to the quarterfinals of Europe's most prestigious cups.
