Khaberni - Al-Hussein Irbid team achieved a sweeping victory over Al-Baqa'a, rising to the top of the Jordanian Professional League, sharing the spot with Al-Faisaly.
The match, held on Tuesday evening at Al-Hassan Stadium in Irbid, ended with a score of 5-1.
Al-Baqa'a opened the scoring early through Khaled Sayahin (10th minute), to which Al-Hussein responded with five goals scored by Yusuf Abu Jalboush (33rd and 57th minutes), Aref Al-Hajj (48th minute), Ali Hajbi (60th minute), and Rizq Bani Hani (64th minute).
Al-Hussein raised their points to 40 from 17 matches, equal with Al-Faisaly who has the same tally from 18 matches, followed by Al-Ramtha in third place with 35 points from 19 matches, and Al-Wehdat in fourth with 34 points from 19 matches; Al-Baqa'a now stands in seventh place with 21 points.
