Khaberni - Today the Kremlin reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated his Emirati counterpart Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on his 65th birthday, and discussed with him during a phone call the developments in the Middle East.
A statement published on its website by the Kremlin stated that Putin warmly congratulated Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on his sixty-fifth birthday, praising his substantial personal contribution to enhancing the strategic partnership between Russia and the UAE.
The two sides expressed satisfaction with the dynamic development of friendly relations between Russia and the UAE in all fields.
In a congratulatory message also published by the Kremlin, Putin told the Emirati president: "I look forward to continuing our constructive dialogue and fruitful cooperation, and I wish you from the bottom of my heart robust health, happiness, and prosperity, and of course success in overcoming the challenges facing the UAE today."
According to the Kremlin’s statement, "the leaders continued to exchange views on the dangerously deteriorating situation in the Middle East, which is causing severe damage to Iran and the Arab countries," and the Russian president stressed the necessity to halt escalation and settle the conflict through negotiation.
Putin also expressed his special gratitude to the president of the UAE for the assistance and support being provided to many Russian citizens residing in the UAE.
