President of AlZaytoonah University of Jordan Discusses Enhancing Academic and Research Cooperation with the Jordanian Center f

Khaberni  -  Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Majali, President of Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, received a delegation from the Jordanian Center for Design and Development (JODDB), in the context of enhancing academic and research cooperation and exploring partnership opportunities between the two sides in the areas of scientific research and technological development.

 The delegation included the Head of Applied Research and Scientific Cooperation at the Jordanian Center for Design and Development, Engineer Radi Al-Wardat, Engineer Mohammad Dalabih, and Engineer Saeed Na'amneh.

 The meeting was attended by the Vice President of the University, Professor Dr. Tarek Al-Qaram, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Dr. Youssef Jaradat, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Information Technology Professor Dr. Ayesh Al-Haroub, Vice Dean of Scientific Research Dr. Baraa Shawagfeh, and Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Dr. Bilal Al-Wadi.

 During the meeting, Al-Majali emphasized the university's commitment to expanding cooperation with leading national institutions, contributing to the support of applied scientific research and innovative project development, and enhancing the role of universities in serving the community and achieving sustainable development.

 The visit included a tour of the Scientific Research Deanship, where the delegation was briefed on the most prominent research projects and programs supported by the Deanship. The tour also included the Faculty of Engineering and Technology and its laboratories, as well as the Advanced Design and Manufacturing Center at the university, where the available research and technical capabilities were showcased, along with efforts to support innovation and develop engineering and technological solutions.

 The meeting also discussed several specialized joint research projects between the two sides, exploring mechanisms for their development and the application of their outputs to serve various sectors, contributing to enhancing the transfer of knowledge and technology between academic and research institutions.

At the end of the visit, both sides affirmed the importance of expanding the horizons of joint cooperation in the areas of scientific research, entrepreneurship, and the development of applied projects, thereby enhancing the integration between academic and research institutions, and supporting the innovation and development journey in Jordan.
