Khaberni - Deputy Saleh Al-Armouti demanded that the violations mentioned in the Audit Bureau report be referred to the judiciary, emphasizing that many of the violations reported were not handled as required despite government directives to correct them.
Al-Armouti stated that there are numerous violations reported in the Audit Bureau report, and although the Prime Minister directed to make corrections and issue circulars to address them, a number of ministers and relevant entities did not respond to these directives adequately.
He pointed out that there is a clear negligence in the work of the internal control units in government institutions, noting that the report also showed negligence in implementing a number of projects, and that many tenders are issued by direct appointment rather than open competition.
Al-Armouti added that the Audit Bureau report included several violations related to the Social Security Investment Fund, among them a file on purchasing lands whose values decreased by millions of dinars, without taking decisive actions against those responsible for these decisions.
