Khaberni - Lemon prices continued to rise in the central wholesale market affiliated with the Greater Amman Municipality, on Wednesday, where the price per kilogram ranged between 50 and 120 piasters, according to the daily market bulletin.
The quantities of vegetables arriving at the market today amounted to 1637 tons, while the quantities of fruits stood at 429 tons, and leafy greens at 241 tons.
According to the price list for the varieties received today, based on the lowest and highest prices per kilogram, the price for local black eggplants ranged between 10 and 20 piasters, dried onions between 15 and 30 piasters, potatoes between 15 and 35 piasters, and tomatoes between 35 and 55 piasters.
The price of green garlic ranged between 60 and 100 piasters, carrots between 20 and 40 piasters, lettuce between 15 and 25 piasters, cucumbers between 40 and 55 piasters, cauliflower between 25 and 50 piasters, zucchini between 35 and 50 piasters, and cabbage between 13 and 20 piasters, while the price for local bananas ranged between 50 and 75 piasters per kilogram.
