Khaberni - Atlético Madrid honored the visit of its guest Tottenham Hotspur by defeating them (5-2) on Tuesday in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16.
Goals for "Los Rojiblancos" were scored by Marcos Llorente (6), the Frenchman Antoine Griezmann (14), the Argentinian Julián Álvarez (15 and 55), and Rubén Le Normand (22).
Each of the Spaniard Pedro Porro (26) and Dominic Solanke (76) scored the goals for "the Spurs".
The second leg will take place next Wednesday in London where Tottenham will be facing the necessity of making amends despite the difficulty of the task.
