One of them is Arab Two Alternatives for Barcelona to Replace Rashfords Potential Departure

Khaberni - A Spanish report has revealed that Barcelona has identified two potential replacements for the English winger Marcus Rashford if a final agreement is not reached.

It seemed that Barcelona was close to signing Rashford permanently this summer, but the deal has not yet been finalized.

It is likely that the player, on loan from Manchester United, will cost the Catalan club the full amount of the purchase option, amounting to 30 million euros (about 32.4 million dollars), plus his high salary, at a time when Rashford has informed the English club that he does not intend to return again.

Rashford's season at Camp Nou has seen many ups and downs, where he shone intermittently, but he decisively contributed by scoring 10 goals and providing 13 assists for his teammates during the absence of Brazilian winger Raphinha due to injury.

Rashford and Barcelona's German coach Hansi Flick have both expressed their desire to continue working together, but the salary cap restrictions at the Spanish club mean that the deal is not guaranteed.

Two Alternatives for Barcelona to Replace Rashford

According to the Spanish newspaper "Marca", Barcelona's Portuguese sporting director Deco has identified two alternatives to Rashford if a final deal is not reached.

Information indicates that terms are already agreed with Manchester United, and the transfer depends only on the approval from Barcelona's management. If Joan Laporta succeeds in the club president elections, it is likely that the deal will be completed.

The Spanish newspaper explained that one of Rashford's replacements is Moroccan international star Abdessamad Ezzalzouli, the former Barcelona player who has impressed everyone with his performance at Real Betis this season.

After an inconsistent first season, Ezzalzouli has become a key element for the team coached by Chilean Manuel Pellegrini, serving as a regular player for the Andalusian club, where he scored nine goals and made seven assists this season.

Barcelona owns 20% of Ezzalzouli's future sale value, meaning that any deal made for the player will not fully benefit Betis financially, and there have been many rumors about the possibility of the "Atlas Lions" star moving to the English Premier League in the upcoming summer transfers as well.

The other option on Deco's shortlist is the Spaniard Jan Verghili, who left the club to join Real Mallorca last summer due to lack of playing opportunities with Barcelona's first team after Rashford's arrival.

The young player (19 years old) is enjoying an excellent first season in the Spanish league, having made six goals, despite not playing regularly with his current club.

Barcelona decided to sell Verghili for 3.5 million euros (about 3.8 million dollars), but in his case, the club owns 50% of the value of his future sale.
