The King Chairs a Meeting at the National Center for Security and Crisis Management

Khaberni  - His Majesty King Abdullah II chaired a meeting today, Tuesday, at the National Center for Security and Crisis Management to review the readiness of the center and state institutions to handle the repercussions of regional developments.

During the meeting, which was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, His Majesty listened to a briefing on the procedures for dealing with attacks targeting Jordan and the region, in a way that preserves the security of the kingdom and the safety of its citizens.

His Majesty expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by all institutions and agencies to ensure the safety of Jordanians and defend the homeland, emphasizing the importance of maintaining coordination among the concerned parties.

His Majesty pointed out the need to be prepared for any emergency, to develop rapid response plans, and to ensure the availability of essential goods through a secure stock and sustainable supply chains.

His Majesty also emphasized the importance of preparing plans to ensure sufficient supplies of energy and raw materials, and to regulate the markets to prevent price manipulation.

The meeting was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Ali bin Hussein, president of the center, Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Yousef Ahmad al-Huneiti, the Director of General Intelligence Major General Ahmad Husni, the Director of Public Security Major General Obaidullah Maaytah, and several ministers.
