Arab Bank and The Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature Organize an Event on International Womens Day

Khaberni - The Arab Bank, in collaboration with the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature, organized a special interactive experience at the Ajloun Forests Biosphere Reserve in celebration of International Women's Day, in recognition of women's pioneer role in society and highlighting their contributions to environmental protection and support for sustainable development efforts, especially in local communities surrounding natural reserves.

This initiative is part of Arab Bank's support for community and environmental initiatives and programs that contribute to empowering women and enhancing their economic and social roles, alongside embedding a culture of corporate social responsibility among its employees and encouraging them to engage with environmental and developmental issues that have a positive impact.

The event included a variety of activities that allowed participants to learn about some of the crafts and products led by women in the local community of Ajloun Governorate, including the production of natural soap inspired by local environmental resources, in addition to the activity of Arabic calligraphy which reflects the creative skills displayed by women. Participants also had the opportunity to learn about the nature of the work and craft activities carried out by local women under the initiatives and programs of the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature in the Ajloun Forest Reserve, which relies on using local natural resources in a responsible and sustainable way and contributes to supporting small production projects and enhancing the local community's connection to the reserve.

The activities concluded with organizing a group breakfast in honor of the local community women working in the reserve, in recognition of their efforts in preserving the environmental and cultural heritage of the area, and their role in managing and operating several production projects associated with the reserve.
