Iranian missile attack on US forces headquarter at Isa Air Base in Bahrain

Khaberni - The Iranian news agency "Tasnim" reported that Iranian forces launched a missile attack on the headquarters of the US forces at Isa Air Base in Bahrain.
The agency noted that "the Iranian missile attack on the headquarters of the US forces at Isa Air Base in Bahrain led to a fire and rising smoke columns".

Bahraini sources told the agency that the US soldiers' barracks were the target of the attack.

Scenes showing the outbreak of fires and smoke columns have spread on social media, concurrently with the sound of sirens in the area.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard confirmed last Saturday evening that the Juffair American base in Bahrain was bombed. Asserting that it "will not tolerate American strikes targeting the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran originating from Arab states in the Gulf."

It is worth mentioning that ‏the Bahraini Ministry of Interior announced yesterday "the death of one person and the injury of others due to a blatant Iranian aggression targeting a residential building in the capital, Manama", in a preliminary tally.

The United States and Israel began bombing targets in Iran on Saturday, February 28th, resulting in damage and civilian casualties. In turn, Iran is carrying out retaliatory strikes on Israel, targeting military sites in the Middle East.
