Educational and Psychological Sciences in Arab Amman Hold Interactive Meeting with College Graduates

Khaberni  - The College of Educational and Psychological Sciences, in collaboration with the Dean of Student Affairs at Arab Amman University, held an interactive meeting with college graduates via the Teams platform, gathering Dr. Wafaa Al-Eid, the Dean of the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences, and Dr. Mohammad Bin Tarif, the Dean of Student Affairs, with the presence of Dr. Naseeba Al-Sawa, the Vice Dean of the College, department heads, and the director of the Career Guidance and Alumni Follow-up Office.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Al-Eid welcomed the graduating students, emphasizing the importance of enhancing communication and ongoing coordination between the graduates and the college deanery to contribute to the development of the college’s journey and its academic and community role. She also stressed the importance of having the graduates serve as distinguished ambassadors of the college and the university in their various workplaces, by portraying the positive image that reflects the quality of its educational outputs. She wished them continued success and prosperity in their professional careers, and Dr. Al-Eid underlined the importance of enabling the graduating students to acquire diverse life and technological skills after their graduation, noting Arab Amman University's commitment to supporting their career paths through its various specialized professional training programs and diplomas that enhance their capabilities and readiness for the job market. She also offered a series of guidelines and advises to the graduates to support their professional development and enhance their success opportunities in various fields.

The meeting discussed the college’s vision, mission, objectives, goals, and the outputs of its academic programs, and the importance of disseminating and enhancing its presence in the local community. The possibilities of developing and formulating these elements in the future were deliberated to keep pace with the latest educational developments and changes in the educational sector. The participants also discussed ways to enhance local marketing of the college programs and mechanisms to attract students, affirming the importance of the role of graduates in supporting the college’s efforts in this area by introducing its programs through various social media platforms, as well as sharing their professional experiences in community sectors, especially the educational sector. The meeting also addressed the key challenges and obstacles that the graduates faced during their study period at the college, proposing a set of solutions that could contribute to developing the educational environment.

In turn, the graduates praised the outputs of the college programs and the knowledge and skills they gained, which positively reflected on their performance in the job market, affirming the importance of continuing to develop the educational and learning environment at the college, and providing various elements that enhance the success of the educational process and support the students in obtaining high-quality and distinctive education. The possibility of graduates contributing to providing professional consultancy and training to the students currently enrolled in the college was discussed, alongside supporting the college’s efforts in building partnerships with civil society institutions related to training and qualification processes, and cooperating in organizing workshops and joint professional training programs and diplomas.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the participants discussed the possibility of making the college and university facilities available to graduates and their families during official holidays, exchanging ideas and proposals and listening to the future training and professional needs of the graduates, which contributes to enhancing the sustainability of the relationship between them and the college. The graduates expressed their appreciation for the college's initiatives of continuous communication and coordination with them, valuing the efforts made in enhancing the bridges of dialogue and cooperation, which contribute to strengthening the relationship between the college and its graduates and supporting their future professional journey.
