Khaberni - Bahrain's Bapco Energies refinery announced on Monday a force majeure on the operations of the group affected by the current conditions due to the ongoing Iranian attacks on the region, and the latest attack that targeted one of the refining units of the Bapco company.
The company clarified that all local market needs are fully secured according to proactive plans set in place, ensuring the continuity of supplies and meeting local demand without disruption.
The company affirmed that it will continue to keep partners and relevant authorities updated with the latest information and developments.
The National Government Communication Center announced that a fire broke out due to Iranian targeting of a facility in Ma'ameer with material damages reported, but no injuries or loss of life recorded, and the competent authorities are undertaking fire extinguishing procedures.
Since Saturday, February 28, Israel and the United States have been conducting airstrikes on Iran, resulting in the death of the Iranian Supreme Leader. Since then, Tehran has been retaliating by striking Israel and other countries in the region with missiles and drones.
