Khaberni - The Ministry of the Interior in the Kingdom of Bahrain announced that the Cybercrime Control Department within the General Directorate for Anti-Corruption, Economic and Cyber Security has managed to monitor six individuals of Asian nationalities, arresting them after they were found filming, publishing, and republishing recorded clips concerning the effects of the Iranian aggression, showing sympathy for it, and glorifying those hostile acts.
The ministry clarified that the accused had shared these clips through their accounts on social media platforms, which could harm the security and public order, contribute to misleading public opinion, and instill fear among citizens and residents.
The Ministry of the Interior confirmed that legal actions necessary had been taken against them and they were referred to the Public Prosecution.
The ministry also urged everyone to acquire information from its official sources and avoid circulating or reposting unreliable clips or news to prevent legal accountability and to maintain the security and safety of the nation.
