Khaberni - The Egyptian striker Hamza Abdelkarim opened his career with the Barcelona youth team (FC Barcelona Juvenil A) by scoring a goal in his first match against Huesca youth (SD Huesca Juvenil), which ended in a 2-2 draw after Huesca equalized with a penalty in stoppage time.
Abdelkarim returned to Barcelona on Friday after completing his transfer procedures and settling in Spain, participating just two days later with the team, playing 73 minutes and contributing to one goal and causing a penalty for Barcelona.
Coach Paul Planas’ team leads the league rankings by two points ahead of Espanyol, and will face Deportivo Juvenile (Deportivo Juvenil) this Thursday in the semifinals of the Youth King's Cup.
