Israeli Chief of Staff War with Iran may take a long time

Khaberni - Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir emphasized on Sunday that the war with Iran, which began on February 28, might require "a lot of time".

Zamir said in a video released by the army, addressing his forces, "Israel has been in a state of emergency for two years, and we must expect that it will take a lot of time, we must be patient".

Since February 28, Israel and the United States have been carrying out airstrikes on Iran, which resulted in the killing of the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei. Since then, Tehran has retaliated by striking Israel and countries in the region with missiles and drones.

Iran implemented a naval blockade on the passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz, targeting oil tankers attempting to transit.

On the night of March 1–2, Hezbollah launched several missiles from Lebanon targeting northern Israel, in response to the assassination of Khamenei, which dragged Lebanon into an open war with Israel, where the latter carried out devastating air raids on Lebanese territory.
