Hala News - The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense announced today, Sunday, that the Kuwaiti Armed Forces destroyed three ballistic missiles in the south of the country in the past 24 hours, while a wave of hostile drones that penetrated the airspace was detected and some were destroyed by air defenses.
According to the official Kuwaiti news agency (KUNA), the spokesperson for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense, Colonel Saud Al-Attwan, stated that the past 24 hours saw the air defenses dealing with three ballistic missiles that were intercepted and destroyed in the southern part of the country, while air defense systems and warplanes of the air force detected a wave of hostile drones that penetrated the country's airspace, noting that the air defenses managed to destroy some of them, causing fragments to fall.
Al-Attwan also mentioned targeting two drones at fuel tanks at Kuwait International Airport in the Subhan area and targeting a drone at the building of the Public Institution for Social Security in Kuwait City, the capital. No human casualties resulted from these incidents.
