Good news from the Prophet that makes your heart better
Khaberni - Dr. Amr Khaled, the Islamic preacher, revealed three wonderful meanings that make your completion of the Quran during Ramadan the best completion in your life, as a major gateway to Allah’s satisfaction, answering prayers, and forgiveness of sins on the Night of Decree, and changing your life.
And Khaled urged in the eighteenth episode of his Ramadan program "Delil – A Journey with the Quran" to befriend the Quran during Ramadan, by getting closer to it more and more until this meaning is achieved in you.
The owner of the Quran
He cited in his call to befriend the Quran a saying from the Prophet PBUH: "Learn Surat Al-Baqarah and Al 'Imran; for they are the two lights, and they will cover their friend on the Day of Resurrection as if they were two clouds, or two shades, or two flocks of birds, and the Quran will meet its companion on the Day of Resurrection when the grave splits open as a pale man, and it will say to him: Do you recognize me? He will say: I do not recognize you. It will say: I am your companion, the Quran, that made you thirsty in the heat, kept you awake at night, and indeed every trader follows his trade, and today you follow every trade. Then he will be given dominion in his right hand and eternity in his left, a crown of dignity will be placed on his head, and his parents will be clothed in garments that nothing in the world could equal, and they will ask: Why were we clothed in this? It will be said: Because your child took the Quran. Then it will be said to him: Read and ascend the levels and chambers of Paradise. For he is ascending as long as he reads, whether normally or in slow measure."
And Khaled said that companionship of the Quran makes the heart more beautiful, and it was among the prayers of the Prophet PBUH: "Oh Allah, make the Quran the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the departure of my concerns and sadness, and the disappearance of my sorrow".
And he explained that the Quran becomes a companion to those who read it, when he remembers while reciting that our Lord is speaking to him, when he reads that this is the word of Allah for me, as if it was sent down merely for him alone, and when he reads it deliberately without hurriedness, "And a Qur'an which We have divided, that you might read it to the people over a prolonged period, and We have sent it down progressively."
10 ethical traits in Surat Al-Furqan
And Khaled emphasized that Surat Al-Furqan means that the Quran makes a difference in life because our Lord named the Quran Furqan, and if you read the Quran with feeling and the intention of implementation, it will make a difference in your life and change it for the better.
And he mentioned that the end of the surah "And the servants of the Most Merciful" contains 10 ethical, spiritual, and life traits that if you live by them, you will reach excellence in all aspects of life:
1-Behavioral ethical trait: "Those who walk upon the earth easily and when the ignorant address them, they say peace" (Do not argue with a fool so you do not lose and get hurt).
2-Spiritual devotional trait: "And those who spend part of the night to their Lord prostrate and standing" (Maintain solitary nightly vigils with God every night in Ramadan).
3-Financial trait – Financial balance: "And those who, when they spend, do not exceed and do not skimp and there is a balance between that" (Deal with money in balance).
4-Spiritual trait: "And those who say, our Lord, avert from us the punishment of Hell. Indeed, its punishment is a persistent affliction" (Strive for God's piety as much as you can).
5-Doctrinal trait: "And those who do not invoke with Allah another deity" (Keep your heart engaged in remembering there is no god but Allah).
6-Human religious trait: "And those who do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden except by right and do not commit unlawful sexual intercourse. And whoever does that will meet a penalty" (Avoid major sins, especially illicit relationships).
7-Ethical trait: "And those who do not testify to falsehood, and when they pass near ill speech, they pass by with dignity" (Hold your tongue from speaking ill and seek forgiveness).
8-Spiritual trait: "And those who, when reminded of the verses of their Lord, do not fall upon them deaf and blind" (Maintain the recitation of remembrance with feeling).
9-Family social trait: "And those who say, Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes" (Improve your relationship with your family).
10-Prophetic missionary trait: "And make us leaders for the pious" (Do a good deed intending solely the pleasure of Allah).
Read the Quran with contemplation to improve your life
And Khaled advised reading the Quran with contemplation, not just mere recitation devoid of thought, "Do they not contemplate the Qur'an, or are there locks upon hearts?", highlighting the difference between contemplation and reading as follows:
-Contemplation is sensing the meaning behind the words.
-Reading: is the outward act, pronouncing the words and phrases of the Quran.
-Contemplation: is delving into the beyond, what does the Creator want?
-Reading fills you with the blessing of the Quran.
-Contemplation awakens your heart and creates in you the desire to interact and change yourself.
-Reading lets you hear the words of Allah to you, contemplation lets you hear Allah's intention from you.
And Khaled explained that when you let the Quran flow in your spirit, it grants you an additional spirit, "And thus We revealed to you a spirit from Our command...", "What Allah opens for people of mercy, no one can withhold...", and it purifies your heart from envy, malice, suspicions, from hatred and arrogance.
