AlSafadi The security of Arab states is unified and requires standing together to face Iranian assaults

Khaberni - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs, Ayman Al-Safadi, participated on Sunday in the extraordinary session of the Arab League Council at the ministerial level, which was held via video conference, chaired by the United Arab Emirates, and requested by Jordan, the Kingdom of Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, and the Arab Republic of Egypt; to discuss the Iranian assaults on Arab countries.

During the meeting, Al-Safadi confirmed Jordan's condemnation of the unjustified Iranian assaults that targeted the Kingdom and its Arabian Gulf brothers.

Al-Safadi emphasized Jordan's full solidarity with the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and its support for any steps taken by the brothers to confront the Iranian assaults and protect their citizens, security, stability, and sovereignty. He also appreciated the solidarity of the Arab countries with Jordan in facing the Iranian assaults.

Al-Safadi affirmed that the security of Arab countries is one, which requires a clear stance to confront these assaults. He said, "Arab countries are exposed to brutal assaults that target their security, stability, sovereignty, citizens, residents, and facilities," and there must be a unified front to address these assaults.

Al-Safadi also confirmed Jordan's solidarity with Lebanon in protecting its security, stability, and the imposition of state sovereignty over all its territories, and emphasized the necessity of joint and intensified efforts to protect Lebanon and stop aggression against it.

Al-Safadi highlighted the importance of continuing the joint efforts to support the brotherly Palestinian people and their right to freedom and statehood on their national territory.

Al-Safadi stated that Arab national security faces challenges and threats that require re-evaluating, adjusting, and developing its protection mechanisms "in order to present a real stance in facing upcoming challenges." He suggested that the upcoming regular session of the Arab League Council at the ministerial level this month should focus on that.

Al-Safadi emphasized the importance of continuing work to establish security and stability and adopting dialogue as a way to resolve disputes.

The meeting adopted a resolution condemning the Iranian assaults on Arab countries, and confirmed Arab solidarity in confronting them.
