Khaberni - Salam Al-Malki, Director of Tourism in the Aqaba Special Zone Authority, said that 12 charter flights that were scheduled to arrive in Aqaba in March from four European tourist destinations have been canceled due to the surrounding war conditions in the region.
In televised statements to "Al-Mamlaka" channel, Al-Malki explained that the expected hotel occupancy rate in Aqaba for March was 62%, but has actually decreased to 22% due to the conditions caused by the war in the region.
