Oman Arab Pharmacy organizes a display of students research projects within the projectbased learning approach

Khaberni  - Within the framework of Arab Amman University's adoption of the project-based learning approach (Project-Based Learning), which focuses on connecting theoretical knowledge with practical application and enhancing students' scientific research skills, the Faculty of Pharmacy organized a showcase of students' research projects attended by Professor Rana Abu Hweij, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, faculty and administrative members, and a number of students from the faculty.

This event was part of the "Research Project" course supervised by Dr. Mohammed Khalil, and coincided with the activities of the "Pharmacy Practice" course supervised by Dr. Lubna Al-Ghraibeh, aiming to provide students the opportunity to display their research outputs and exchange scientific experiences in an academic environment that stimulates innovation and critical thinking. The showcase covered various applied research topics in fields of clinical pharmacy, drug safety and security, and community pharmaceutical practice, reflecting the students' ability to identify priority health problems, formulate precise research questions, select appropriate methodologies for data collection and analysis, and derive results supported by scientific evidence.

Dr. Abu Hweij emphasized the importance of adopting project-based research education as a strategic approach in the educational process, due to its effective role in consolidating the culture of scientific research among students, enhancing their academic independence, and developing their skills in critical thinking and analytical methodology, indicating that this approach reflects the ongoing commitment of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Arab Amman University to develop educational methods in line with job market requirements and rapid developments in pharmaceutical practice and scientific research.

Both Dr. Mohammed Khalil and Dr. Lubna Al-Ghraibeh, supervisors of the event, stressed the importance of adopting project-based learning as an educational approach that enhances deep learning, and develops skills in teamwork, time management, and evidence-based decision making, noting that this experience represents a fundamental step in preparing students capable of actively contributing to the development of pharmaceutical practice and community service.

The event witnessed notable interaction from the attendees where students demonstrated advanced skills in academic presentation, discussing results, and defending their ideas with rigorous scientific method, making the event a motivating academic platform for exchanging experiences and enhancing the culture of scientific research within the college, reflecting its commitment to graduating scientifically and professionally qualified talents capable of innovation and sustainable development.
