Virtual Reality Capsules Smart Break to Combat Employee Fatigue at Work

Khaberni - NB company, specializing in extended reality technologies and based in South Korea, introduced an innovative solution to combat employee fatigue at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, where it combined a small capsule with a virtual reality headset.

NB, the developer of the "MUA" app for Quest glasses, unveiled "MUA’H", a single unit designed to provide "an immediate technology break and psychological rejuvenation at the heart of the workplace environment," according to a company statement.

The unit is not just a small box equipped with Quest 3 glasses, but NB, according to their statement, uses "contactless sensors" to monitor six vital indicators in real time, including heart rate variability, heart rate, blood pressure, and body temperature.

All this data is integrated with the virtual reality glasses to provide a customized meditation experience using extended reality technology through data fed into NB's "MIND-C AI" system, according to the company.

Furthermore, the company says its "Mua Home" platform will allow management to proactively identify stress levels and manage the risks of occupational burnout using anonymized data so that a manager cannot spy on the health or wellness concerns of their employees.

At the global conference, NB showcased a prototype of the virtual reality capsule, which features carpeted floors, cushions, and a sliding door for privacy.

The ease of installation of the capsule has also been enhanced, supporting a ready structure and an unmonitored operating system, allowing the device to be installed in just one hour without the need for construction, thus enabling flexible placement within institutional wellness spaces or public facilities.

NB allows customization of the capsule's appearance according to the brand identity.
