Turkey urges Tehran to be cautious after intercepting missile

Khaberni - Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan called on Iran on Saturday to "be cautious" following the interception of a missile launched on Wednesday that was headed towards Turkish airspace.

Fidan said at a press conference in Istanbul, "We have spoken with our friends in Iran and told them that if it was a stray missile, that is another matter. It may be an isolated incident, but if it happens again, we advise you to exercise the utmost caution. No one in Iran should embark on such an adventure."

The Iranian Armed Forces confirmed in a statement published by the Iranian official media on Thursday, their respect for Turkey’s sovereignty and denied launching any missiles towards its territory.
