Khaberni - The selling price of the 21-karat gold gram, which is most desired by citizens in the local market, reached 105 dinars today, Saturday, for selling from jewelry shops, compared to 100.20 dinars for buying.
The selling prices of one gram of gold in 24, 18, and 14 karats for buying from jewelry shops were 119.90, 93.10, and 72.70 dinars respectively.
According to the head of the General Union of Jewelry and Jewelry Trade and Craftsmanship Shop Owners, Rabhi Allan, the price of the Rashadi Lira weighing 7 grams reached 730 dinars, and the English Lira weighing 8 grams reached 835 dinars.
Allan told the Jordanian News Agency (Petra) that the supply and demand for gold in the local market are weak.
He pointed out that the yellow metal closed its trading yesterday, Friday, in the world market, at 5172 dollars per ounce.
