Khaberni - The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced, on Friday evening, the death of at least 11 people and the injury of 17 others in Israeli raids targeting the district of Baalbek and the town of Qulayeh.
According to the Lebanese news agency, quoting the Emergency Health Operations Center of the Public Health Ministry, the Israeli airstrikes on the town of Nabi Sheet in the Baalbek district, according to an interim toll, resulted in 9 deaths and 17 injuries.
The agency added that two other individuals were killed in a raid targeting the town of Qulayeh.
Israel and the United States have been conducting airstrikes on Iran since Saturday, February 28, which led to the death of the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, and since then, Tehran has responded by striking Israel and other countries in the region with missiles and drones.
Iran implemented a naval blockade on the passage of ships in the Strait of Hormuz, targeting oil tankers attempting to pass through it.
On the first Sunday of March, Hezbollah launched several rockets from Lebanon targeting northern Israel; in response to the assassination of Khamenei, dragging Lebanon into an open war with Israel, with destructive airstrikes conducted on southern Lebanon and the southern suburbs of Beirut.
