Iraqi factions threaten to target American interests in Arab countries

Khaberni - The "Iraqi Resistance Coordination" threatened on Friday to target American interests in Arab countries, in the event of "tampering with the security of the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital, Beirut," the stronghold of "Hezbollah".

The Coordination is a framework that includes armed factions in Iraq, including "Hezbollah Brigades", "Al-Nujaba Movement", "Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq", and "Kata'ib Sayyid al-Shuhada".

The Coordination said in a statement that "any tampering with the security of civilians in the suburb will turn the embassies and oil facilities belonging to the United States in several Arab countries into legitimate targets".

Adding with a threat: "The era of fragmented security is over, security for everyone or no security for anyone."

The threats of the Iraqi factions come while Israel, an ally of the United States, continues its airstrikes on the Beirut suburbs, and issues evacuation warnings, under the guise of targeting Hezbollah sites.

On Monday, the scope of the war expanded regionally to include Lebanon, after Israel and the United States last Saturday began a continuous aggression against Iran that resulted in hundreds of deaths, including the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

On Monday, "Hezbollah", an ally of Iran, attacked a military site in northern Israel, in response to Tel Aviv's continuous attacks on Lebanon, despite a ceasefire agreement since November 2024, and the assassination of the Iranian guide Ali Khamenei.

On the same day, Israel launched a new aggression on Lebanon, through air raids on the southern suburbs of Beirut and areas in the southern and eastern parts of the country, resulting in dozens of deaths, and then started a limited ground incursion on Tuesday.
