Khaberni - Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez criticized the ongoing war on Iran by the US and Israel, describing it as illegal and a big mistake that everyone will pay for, emphasizing that his country's position is clear on this matter.
For his part, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz warned of the repercussions of the war's continuation, asserting that prolonging it does not serve his country's interests. He said that the expansion of the war threatens the security of Israel and Europe's partners in the region, especially the Gulf states.
Merz also noted that encroaching on Iran's sovereignty or territorial integrity carries significant risks, warning that the collapse of the Iranian state or its transformation into a battleground for proxy conflicts would have dire consequences for Europe. He added that any collapse in Iran could threaten European energy security and cause uncontrolled migration waves.
