Khaberni - The Iranian president Masoud Bazshkian said on Friday that his country has received initiatives from several countries for mediation regarding the war, confirming at the same time that Tehran will not hesitate to protect its national security.
Bazshkian added that Tehran has informed the mediators of its commitment to the path of de-escalation, saying: "Our response to them is clear, and that is that we are committed to achieving lasting peace in the region."
The Iranian president continued, "But we never hesitate to defend the dignity and sovereignty of our country."
On February 28 of the past year, the United States and Israel began a military operation that led to the death of Iran's supreme leader Ali Khamenei and senior military leaders in Tehran.
