Khaberni - Iran has moved three types of its "quality" weapons to the front line in the ongoing war with the United States and Israel, in a notable development that coincides with Tel Aviv's transition to the "second phase" of military operations against Tehran, as reported by Reuters from Israeli sources.
In the past hours, Iranian media reported that the Revolutionary Guard used the latest Khorramshahr-4 missile, the new suicide drone Hadid 110, and remotely operated explosive boats targeting oil tankers in the Gulf.
Khorramshahr-4 missile
The Revolutionary Guard confirmed today, Thursday, that it bombed Ben Gurion Airport and Israeli Air Base No. 27 with Khorramshahr-4 missiles, stating they "caused hell for the enemies".
The Republican Guard noted that the missiles "penetrated seven layers of air defense systems within the occupied territories".
The "Khorramshahr-4" is the latest generation of the Khorramshahr ballistic missile which Tehran unveiled in its first version in 2017, then announced the fourth generation in May 2023.
The missile has a range of 2000 kilometers, a length of 13 meters, and reaches speeds up to 16 Mach outside the atmosphere and 8 Mach within it, while its warhead weighs 1500 kilograms.
The "Hadid 110" drone
In another development, the Fars News Agency announced today that the Revolutionary Guard used the suicide drone "Hadid 110" for the first time, which is the first Iranian drone powered by a jet engine, reaching speeds up to 517 kilometers per hour, making it the fastest in its class in the Iranian arsenal, allowing it high capability to approach targets before being detected by early warning systems.
Tehran first revealed this drone on February 12, 2025.
The drone is also known as "Dalahoo" and is equipped with a warhead weighing about 30 kilograms, alongside advanced stealth technologies.
Explosive boats
In a related context, initial assessments by two sources in Iraqi port security revealed that an Iranian explosive boat controlled remotely was used today, Thursday, in an attack targeting the crude oil tanker Sonangol Namibe (Bahamas flag) while it was waiting in Iraqi waters.
The sources mentioned that the boat exploded after colliding with the tanker in the first recorded attack within Iraq's exclusive economic zone since the American strikes on Iran began on February 28.
For its part, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard forces said they also targeted an American tanker in the north of the Gulf, which led to a fire on board, indicating an expansion in the scale of maritime attacks between the two sides.
Since Saturday morning, Israel and the United States have been waging a war on Iran, named by Tel Aviv as "Lion's Roar," and by Washington as "Epic Fury," which has resulted in the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and other senior security and military officials and civilians, while Tehran has responded with the operation "The True Promise 4".
Israel and the United States say their attacks target the military and security infrastructure of the Revolutionary Guard. Reuters quoted two informed sources that the war has entered a second phase focusing on Israel's attacks against Iranian missile sites and deeply buried launch platforms within underground facilities.
