Khaberni - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Al-Safadi discussed with Irish Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade, and Defense Helen McEntee the repercussions of the serious escalation in the region on international security and stability, and they reviewed prospects for restoring calm through the activation of diplomacy that ensures the security of the region, its stability, and respect for international law.
During a telephone call received from his Irish counterpart, Al-Safadi renewed condemnation of Iranian aggressions against Jordan and the Arab Gulf states, and his rejection of these attacks as an unjustified escalation and a blatant breach of international law and state sovereignty, emphasizing that Jordan will take all necessary and available steps to protect its citizens and its security, stability, and sovereignty.
Al-Safadi and McEntee also discussed the situation in the occupied Gaza Strip and West Bank, in addition to the serious deterioration in the situation in Lebanon.
McEntee affirmed her country's solidarity with the Kingdom in facing the Iranian aggressions
