AlHunaiti affirms that the strategic planning process is of utmost importance during the current phase

Khaberni - Major General Yousef Al-Hunaiti, Chief of the Joint Staff, visited on Thursday the National Defense College and the Command and Staff College and was received by the deans of the colleges.

Major General Al-Hunaiti listened to two military briefings presented by the deans of the colleges, discussing future plans related to the development of curricula and study programs, and future aspirations aimed at enhancing their efficiency in line with the visions of His Majesty the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and the directives of the General Command, through updating and developing advanced curricula in line with the latest global military colleges, due to the significant and influential role of the colleges in preparing and qualifying officers capable of planning to confront all current and future threats.

The Chief of the Joint Staff, in the presence of a number of senior officers of the armed forces, emphasized that the strategic planning process and assessing the capabilities and resources available in the armed forces represent a crucial importance during the current phase in light of the rapid events in the region, pointing out that the two colleges play a major role in providing the armed forces with leadership cadres capable of operating under various conditions and dealing with various threats, rapid changes, and emerging challenges imposed by the modern operational environment efficiently and effectively.
