Khaberni - The Qatari Armed Forces succeeded in countering 13 missiles and 4 Iranian drones on Thursday.
The Qatar News Agency reported a statement from the Qatari Ministry of Defense, stating that on Thursday, starting from 11:51 AM, Qatar was subjected to several waves of missile attacks, consisting of (14) ballistic missiles and (4) drones from Iran.
It added that the Qatari Armed Forces were successful in intercepting (13) missiles, while the last missile fell in the territorial waters of the State of Qatar, and all (4) drones were successfully intercepted without any human casualties.
The ministry emphasized in a press statement that the Qatari Armed Forces possess the full capabilities and potential to protect and maintain the sovereignty of the state and its territories, and to firmly respond to any external threats.
It called on citizens, residents, and visitors to remain calm, follow the instructions issued by the security authorities, not to be swayed by rumors, and to rely on the statements and information issued by official entities.
