The Qatari Ministry of Defense stated that starting from 11:51, it faced several missile waves, with a total of 14 ballistic missiles and 4 drones from the Islamic Republic of Iran.
It added that the Qatari forces succeeded in intercepting 13 missiles, while the last missile fell in the territorial waters of the State of Qatar. Four drones were successfully intercepted without any human casualties.
The Ministry of Defense emphasized that the Qatari Armed Forces possess the full capabilities and possibilities to protect and preserve the sovereignty of the state and its territories and to resolutely confront any external threat.
The Ministry called on citizens, residents, and visitors to remain calm, adhere to instructions issued by security authorities, not to follow rumors, and to rely on statements and information issued from official sources.
The United States and Israel began bombing targets in Iran last Saturday, resulting in damage and civilian casualties.
