Khaberni - Jordanian artist Eyad Nassar discussed his experience in the movie "Land Owners" which has recently provoked the Israeli army after it addressed the Palestinian issue.
Nassar explained on the sidelines of his seminar at the Egyptian Journalists Syndicate that he is part of the "Land Owners" project, noting that the project is completely integrated, starting from the decision, as it largely narrates the truth since the Egyptian side lived the issue in all its details, according to Russia Today.
He highlighted the Palestinian saying "Anything that annoys the occupation pleases us," pointing out that the real success is that the project communicates its message and addresses the world.
He indicated that what annoyed Israel is that the work managed to address the world with a different narrative and in their languages.
The portrayal of the character "Captain Ila," the spokesperson for the Israeli army forces by Egyptian actress Rawan al-Ghaba in the series "Land Owners," provoked an attack on her by the original character’s namesake.
Earlier today, the spokesperson for the Israeli army, Ila Wowya, posted a video attacking the series "Land Owners," saying that "art is a message if it is clean, otherwise it is brainwashing and falsification of facts."
The series has faced multiple Israeli criticisms over the past few days, despite its events being based on real scenes from the Gaza War according to its creators.
The spokesperson for the Israeli army claimed that the series "turned the killer into a victim and the victim into a suspect," and described the work as not just drama but a forgery and falsification of facts, according to her.
