Khaberni - The American president Donald Trump's doctor said that the president is using a preventative treatment for a red rash that appeared on his neck, but the White House refused on Wednesday to provide more details about his condition.
A red rash appeared on the right side of Trump's neck, just above the collar line in photos taken during his participation in a Medal of Honor ceremony on Monday.
Dr. Sean Barbapella, the president's doctor, said Trump uses a popular cream as a "preventative treatment for the skin".
He added, "The president has been using this treatment for a week, and the redness is expected to last a few more weeks".
When asked on Wednesday about the need for this treatment, White House spokesperson Carolaine Levitt said she had no additional information to offer beyond the details already provided in the doctor's statement.
The health condition of Trump (79 years old) has attracted greater attention during his second term, especially after the appearance of bruises on his hands and occasionally swelling in his legs.
In January, Trump said the bruises on his hand were due to his frequent use of aspirin, while the White House said the president banged his hand on a table during a trip abroad.
