The Fifth Day Gulf States Announce Toll of Iranian Targetings

Khaberni - The Gulf states, today, Wednesday, announced the latest toll of the Iranian attacks on their territories, within a series of attacks carried out by Tehran since dawn on Saturday under the pretext of targeting "American interests" in the region, in response to ongoing military operations against it.

In various statements, authorities in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, and Bahrain confirmed their defense against most of the attacks.

Qatar: We Possess All Capabilities to Protect the Nation

The Qatari Ministry of Defense stated that Qatar was attacked this morning, Wednesday, by 10 drones and two cruise missiles from Iran.

It added that it successfully intercepted the ten drones and the two missiles.

The ministry emphasized in a press statement that the Qatari Armed Forces possess all the capabilities and potential to protect and preserve the sovereignty of the state and its territories, and decisively confront any external threats.

Kuwait: Continuing Our Defensive Tasks

The General Staff of the Army announced that the armed forces dealt with a new wave of missiles and drones detected in the country's airspace early Wednesday, amid ongoing siren activations in Kuwait City.

On a humanitarian level, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced the death of an 11-year-old girl among the residents, who succumbed to her injuries from falling debris during intercept operations in a residential area in the capital province, where attempts to revive her failed after her arrival at the Amiri Hospital.

With this incident, the death toll in Kuwait has risen to 4 since the attacks began on Saturday, including two military personnel killed last Monday.

The Ministry of Defense also confirmed other human injuries (not specified in number) and material losses due to the fall of debris from hostile aerial targets onto a house.

It noted that the army units and armed forces are continuing their tasks of confronting these threats and destroying them within the state's airspace.

Saudi Arabia: Attack Without Damage

A spokesman for the Saudi Ministry of Defense reported that the Ras Tanura oil refinery, located on the Arabian Gulf coast in the eastern part of the country, was targeted by a new attack attempt on Wednesday.

The initial assessment by the Ministry of Defense indicated that the attack was carried out using a drone, confirming that it resulted in no significant damage to the refinery, which is one of the most important oil facilities in the Eastern Province.

Despite confirmations by the Ministry of Defense of no damages in the latest attack, the Kingdom and the Gulf states condemned these assaults on civilian facilities and vital installations, considering them a direct threat to regional security and global energy supplies, especially amidst continuous barrages of rockets and drones launched by Iran in various directions since the conflict started.

UAE: Successfully Dealt with 3 Ballistic Missiles

The UAE Ministry of Defense announced that its air defense systems successfully dealt with 3 ballistic missiles and tracked 129 drones. The ministry clarified that 121 drones were intercepted, while 8 drones fell inside the country on Wednesday.

Regarding human casualties, the Ministry of Defense confirmed that the Iranian aggressions have so far resulted in 3 deaths and 78 injuries.

In the maritime domain, the repercussions affected maritime traffic off the Emirates' coasts, where the British Maritime Security Agency (UKMTO) reported early Wednesday morning that an oil tanker was hit by "debris from an unidentified projectile" 10 nautical miles east of Fujairah City.

The agency reported that the tanker experienced a strong explosion and debris from the projectile was found on its deck, while also confirming that all crew members were safe.
