Khaberni - The Qatari Ministry of Defense announced that it successfully intercepted an attack it faced on Wednesday, involving 10 drones and two "cruise" missiles originating from the Iranian side.
The Ministry clarified in a statement on Wednesday that the Qatari air defense forces successfully intercepted 6 drones, while intercepting two more drones and two "cruise" missiles, and another two drones.
The Ministry confirmed that the Qatari Armed Forces possess all the capabilities and potential to protect and maintain the sovereignty of the state and its territories and to decisively confront any external threats.
The Ministry urged citizens and residents to be reassured and to adhere to the instructions issued by the security authorities, not to follow rumors, and to rely on statements and information from official entities.
