Iran Announces Rejection of Negotiations with Washington and its Readiness to Continue War

Khaberni - The advisor to the late Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei said on Wednesday that his country does not intend to negotiate with the United States and is prepared for a long war.

Mohammad Mokhber, in a statement to the official Iranian television, added: "We have no trust in the Americans, and there is no basis for negotiation with them, we can continue the war as long as we like."

Since Saturday, Israel and the United States have been conducting air strikes on Iran, which led to the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, and since then, Tehran has been retaliating by striking Israel and countries in the region with missiles and drones.

Iran has enforced a naval blockade on the passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz, targeting oil tankers attempting to pass through it.

On Sunday, Hezbollah launched several rockets from Lebanon targeting northern Israel; in response to the assassination of Khamenei, pulling Lebanon into an open war with Israel, where devastating raids were carried out on southern Lebanon and the southern suburbs of Beirut.
