Khaberni - The head of the Parliamentary Initiative Bloc, Ahmed Hemisat, described the current version of the amended Social Security Law as "distorted", despite government attempts to beautify it.
Hemisat said during a parliamentary legislative session that all bonuses should be subject to social security, pointing out that there are hundreds of millions in bonuses that are not included, with the exception of the National Assembly so it is not said that the assembly legislates for itself.
He called for raising the minimum salary of retirees to match the minimum wage, to ensure the minimum requirements of life for them, and to find a clear mechanism to attract Jordanians to voluntarily participate.
He also called for the bill to be referred to the Parliamentary Labor, Development, and Population Committee.
