Khaberni - The Israeli occupation authorities continue to close the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque for the fifth consecutive day.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that the Israeli occupation prevented worshippers from being present in the mosque, citing the declaration of a state of emergency amidst a heavy deployment of its forces around it and at the gates of the Old City, and preventing citizens from entering its courtyards.
The occupation forces had closed Al-Aqsa Mosque on Saturday morning, forcing worshippers to leave, and also prevented the performance of Ishaa and Tarawih prayers there.
The closure of Al-Aqsa Mosque comes concurrently with the occupation army's announcement of imposing a lockdown on the West Bank, hours after a widespread attack launched by Israel and the United States on Iran.
