Khaberni - The Iranian Revolutionary Guard said it launched more than 40 missiles at American and Israeli targets on Wednesday, as the war on Iran continues.
The Revolutionary Guard also announced on Wednesday the "full control" over the vitally important Strait of Hormuz for global oil trade, at the entrance of the Gulf.
Fars news agency reported that a senior naval official in the Revolutionary Guard, Mohammad Akbar Zadeh, said that "the Strait of Hormuz is currently under full control of the naval forces of the Revolutionary Guard."
U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that the American Navy is capable of escorting oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz "if necessary."
Child Killed in Kuwait and Intercepts in Saudi Arabia
Moreover, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense announced human casualties and material losses due to debris falling on a house following the interception of aerial targets at dawn on Wednesday.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health stated in a report that an 11-year-old girl was killed by falling debris in a residential area in the Capital province.
The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Health in Kuwait, Abdullah Al-Sanad, said "Al-Amiri Hospital received a case of an 11-year-old girl resident in the country, who was injured by falling debris in a residential area in the Capital province."
He continued, "Resuscitation was performed in the ambulance during the transport of the child to the hospital, and resuscitation attempts continued upon her arrival at Al-Amiri Hospital for approximately half an hour, but she succumbed to her injuries."
The Saudi Ministry of Defense reported intercepting two missiles and a drone in the Eastern region, and nine other drones as soon as they entered the country's airspace.
Later, the ministry reported intercepting and destroying two cruise missiles in Al-Kharj city, situated 100 kilometers southeast of Riyadh, and also intercepting and destroying a drone in the Eastern region.
Israeli Attacks and Raids
On the other side, the Israeli army claimed to have targeted the Supply and Logistics Directorate of the Iranian Ground Forces, as well as destroying Iranian missile launch platforms.
The Israeli army also announced that it conducted air raids on "dozens" of Iranian security command centers on Wednesday, targeting scattered locations in the capital Tehran.
The army stated in a report that "the Israeli Air Force executed an additional wave of raids targeting command centers associated with the Iranian terrorist regime in Tehran," including locations belonging to internal security and the Basij forces linked to the Revolutionary Guard.
Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz threatened more assassination operations against Iranian leaders.
Katz said, "Any leader appointed by the Iranian regime will be a direct target for elimination." He added, "We have directed the army to prepare and work by all means to carry out the assassinations."
The Israeli Defense Minister also mentioned that "targeting the regime's leaders is part of the objectives of Operation Lion's Roar.. We will continue to work with our American partners to crush the capacities of the Iranian regime and create conditions for the people to overthrow and replace it," according to him.
Lebanon
The Israeli occupation launched fierce airstrikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut in Lebanon on Wednesday morning, and issued warnings to 30 towns and villages in the south of the country to evacuate them in preparation for bombing them under the pretext of monitoring Hezbollah activities.
The army spokesperson requested the residents of these towns and villages to evacuate their homes "immediately" and to distance themselves from them by at least one kilometer.
A powerful Israeli airstrike targeted a building in Haret Hreik in the southern suburbs of Beirut on Wednesday morning, and the occupation conducted another raid on the Hadath area in the southern suburbs as well.
The Israeli army claimed it began targeting Hezbollah infrastructure in the southern suburbs.
Evacuation of American Employees
The U.S. State Department announced on Wednesday the evacuation of several of its employees from Pakistan and Cyprus.
The U.S. State Department reported that it ordered its non-essential government employees and the families of U.S. government staff at the consulates in Karachi and Lahore to leave Pakistan due to security concerns.
The U.S. Embassy in Pakistan stated that "the State Department ordered non-essential American government employees and families of the American government cadre from the American consulates in Lahore and Karachi to leave Pakistan due to risks to their safety."
The United States also announced on Wednesday that it allowed its non-essential employees to leave Cyprus, where a British military base was attacked by Iran early Monday.
The U.S. Embassy in Cyprus indicated that the State Department "authorized non-essential American government employees" and their families "to leave Cyprus" for security reasons.
The United States and Israel launched an attack on Iran last Saturday morning, igniting a war that has so far resulted in the deaths of hundreds of people including the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and Iranian security officials.
In response, Tehran launched missiles and drones towards Israel and what it describes as "American bases" in the region, although some of these have resulted in casualties and material damage.
