Macron France Sends Aircraft Carrier to the Mediterranean

Khaberni - French President Emmanuel Macron announced on Tuesday that he ordered the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle, its aircraft, and accompanying frigates to sail to the Mediterranean, following the current situation in the Middle East.

In a speech to the French people, he said, "In light of this unstable situation, and the uncertainty of the coming days, I have ordered the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle, its aircraft, and accompanying frigates to sail to the Mediterranean."

Macron attributed "primary responsibility" for the war in the Middle East to Iran on Tuesday, despite acknowledging that the United States and Israel launched attacks on it "outside of international law."

He said, "Iran bears primary responsibility for this situation," against the backdrop of "its dangerous nuclear program," its support for armed factions in Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq, in addition to "orders to fire on its people."

He added, "The United States and Israel decided to launch military operations outside of international law, which we cannot accept. History never mourns the executioners of its people. No one will regret."
