Khaberni - The number of registered companies in the kingdom, in the first two months of this year, increased by 35 percent compared to the same period in 2019, and by 0.6 percent from the same period in 2025.
The number of companies that were registered during the last two months was 1,316, compared with 973 companies for the same period in 2019, and 1,308 companies in the same period last year.
According to statistical data from the Companies Control Department, the total registered capital during the same period was more than 48.9 million dinars, with the most frequently registered type of company being limited liability companies, totaling 1,011 companies and making up 74.3 percent of all registered companies, with registered capitals exceeding 19 million dinars, followed by private shareholding companies with registered capitals over 16.6 million dinars.
The number of companies that were dissolved or whose registrations were canceled decreased by 85 percent from the same period in 2019, with 171 companies having their registrations canceled or dissolved, as opposed to 1,149 companies during 2019, and by 11 percent from the first two months of last year, totaling 193 companies.
The capital increase collection rate during the same period rose by 621 percent from the same period in 2019, and by 243 percent from the first two months of last year.
The rate of new capital collections over the past two months of this year has increased by 776 percent from what it was in 2019, and by 199 percent from the same period last year, 2025.
