Khaberni - Authorities in the Emirate of Fujairah, UAE, controlled a fire that broke out on Tuesday morning in the Fujairah petroleum industry area due to shrapnel falling from an intercepted drone amid the Iranian attacks in the Gulf, according to local authorities.
The media office of the Fujairah government stated in a release, "The concerned authorities in the Emirate of Fujairah dealt with a fire that broke out this morning in the Fujairah petroleum industry area - Fawz, resulting from shrapnel following the successful interception by air defenses of a drone," without any injuries occurring.
The statement clarified that "the fire was controlled, and normal activities have resumed in the area."
