Khaberni - The Public Security Directorate called on citizens residing in the vicinity of the U.S. Embassy in Amman to take the following precautions and preventive safety measures upon hearing the alarm sirens: :
- Stay indoors until any threat has passed (hearing the continuous single siren).
- Close the windows and stay away from them.
- Vehicle drivers should immediately stop their vehicles and head to the nearest building, taking shelter near the stairs until the threat has ended.
- In case of need, do not hesitate to call the unified emergency number 911
The Directorate emphasized that these precautionary measures are taken out of concern for public safety and do not require panic among the citizens, advising everyone to adhere to them.
