Khaberni - The Disaster Risk Management Unit at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers in Lebanon announced in its report issued today, Monday, that 52 people were martyred and 154 others were injured as a result of the ongoing military operations, thereby increasing the number of victims amidst escalating field escalations.
The report noted 221 hostile acts in the past hours, which exacerbated the humanitarian crisis and pressure on the depleted health sector.
Official data revealed that about 6,000 families were forced to leave their homes, and the total number of officially registered displaced persons reached 28,586.
The report clarified that 168 centers for receiving displaced persons were opened, stating that only 92 of these centers still have the capacity to accommodate, which forewarns logistical challenges in case of continued waves of displacement.
