The head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization, Mohammad Eslami, said that «the Zionist entity and America attacked the Natanz nuclear center in Isfahan twice on Sunday, and the international agency must condemn the attack on Natanz and fulfill its responsibilities.
Eslami added, in a message to the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, on Monday: "We protest against the brutal repeated attacks conducted by the American and Israeli regimes against nuclear facilities".
The Iranian official confirmed that these attacks represent a violation of the Geneva Conventions, the system of the International Atomic Energy Agency, the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, and the Comprehensive Safeguards Agreement between Iran and the Agency.
Eslami demanded the International Atomic Energy Agency to end what he described as "a state of silence and inaction, and to condemn these actions that violate international laws and to perform its duties as stipulated in its statute."
